Marsha B. Regan is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 5 years experience in the mental health field. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work summa cum laude from Cleveland State University in 2005. Marsha also earned a Master of Social Work in 2007, with a concentration in direct practice with individuals, families, and groups. She worked on the SAMI Team (Substance Abuse/Mental Illness) as a Community Psychiatric Case Manager before joining the Partial Hospitalization Program for The Nord Center in Lorain, Ohio. As a Partial Hospitalization Clinician, Marsha provided daily, intensive outpatient group therapy, as well as diagnostic assessments, and individual counseling services. Marsha’s clinical experience has been focused on individuals with severe mental illnesses, including Psychotic and Bipolar Disorders, Major Depression and Anxiety Disorders, as well as Post Traumatic Stress and Dual Diagnosis/Substance Abuse Disorders and adjustment issues. Marsha has also worked in residential treatment with at-risk youth, and has certification in Adoption Services through Ohio Child Welfare Institute for Human Services. Marsha is a current member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society and a recipient of the 2006 Phi Alpha Graduate Scholarship. |
