Dr. Phil Scozzaro received his undergraduate degree from Canisius College in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. He then pursued his graduate education at the University of Akron where he received his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology in 1993. Areas of specialty include marriage therapy, addictions, recovery, men's issues and spirituality as it relates to mental and total health of the mind and body. In addition to his work at Cornerstone Psychological Services, Dr. Scozzaro is on staff at the Blick Clinic in Akron, Ohio, where he provides assessment and behavioral health intervention to clients with developmental disabilities and mental illness. He is affiliated with Akron University, where he has taught seminars and supervised the clinical practice of graduate students in psychology.
