Dr. Waehler attained a G.S. from Suffolk University in 1978, an M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from Plymouth State College in 1980, an M.A. in 1985 and a Ph.D. in 1989 in Counseling from Northwestern University. He is a licensed psychologist and an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Akron. At Cornerstone, Dr. Waehler provides psychological evaluations and psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. He has a special interest in personality assessment and has published extensively in that topic area and others. His work includes: Bachelors -- The Psychology of Men Who Haven't Been Married (Westport, CN Praeger Press). |
